Terms from Statistics for HCI: Making Sense of Quantitative Data

A way of working out statistical properties, primarily used when there is no standard test. Some form of computer simulation is run, based on mathematical probabilities or observed data. By running many simulations, we can observe the likelihood of the results we have observed.
